Over the last few years, I have worked on a good few branding projects, and many ideas of which, didn't quite make the cut (a feeling I am sure most creatives are familiar with 😅) Below I have displayed a few ideas that I developed that never quite made it into the production stage.
Explore Qatar
A brand identity for a gift shop to be located in Qatar ready for the Fifa World Cup 2022. The identity was designed to feel welcoming and consumer focused, with the script font honing in on the experience element of the store. The colours and design were inspired by the colours of the Qatar flag along with the Qatar Airways brand ident. The idea behind the bag was that it should be useful. I outlined the map of Doha and then proceeded to highlight the key tourist locations in the city. This project was ongoing when I left Wanda to join Imagination.
The Confectioner
Another installation inside Qatar International Airport, ready for the Fifa World Cup. This identity was directly inspired by the environment that was rendered for this area of duty free. With the floor having multi coloured spots to create a sense of wonder and vibrancy, I took this and applied it to my design. The biggest inspiration for this design was the artisan style that had been applied to the area. So the main focus was to capture the collaboration of the artisan and vibrant area. The name I also came up with 👀
