A brief set by HSBC to showcase the companies brand promise of 'Together we Thrive' whilst incorporating HSBC's core values of Sustainability, Trade and Commerce, Sport, Diversity and Education. The task was to create an animated or illustrated response through airport activation.

My response to this brief was to create an animated and illustrated narrative around a family that is also travelling through an airport to go on holiday. The main character is depicted working as an HSBC employee at the start of the animation. This way, the HSBC company is then embodied in this character which then goes on to showcase HSBC's core values through subtle hints. The animations would be located throughout the check-in and duty free areas whilst the print component would be located along the jet bridges boarding onto the planes. These locations play a vital part in the narrative of this project as it depicts this families journey to a holiday destination, beginning with the trip through the airport (animation) and finishing in a capital city on holiday (print).

This is something the audience has in common with the narrative. It directs the audience to believe that HSBC are taking that journey with them, honing in on the brand promise of, “Together We Thrive”.
